Who we are?

A world – class Lesotho based wool and mohair company established in April 2023. Our operations are presently covering the Lesotho highlands with the planned future expansions to the foothills and the lowlands.

 

What we do?

Mnotho Waboya offers comprehensive wool and mohair services, including on-farm shearing assistance, year-round wool procurement at competitive prices, and responsible mohair sourcing aligned with RMS standards. The company operates well-equipped shearing and dipping facilities in Thaba Tseka District, prioritizing animal welfare and quality while optimizing wool and mohair yields.

Meet the team

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Kananelo Mokhuts’oane – Mphafi, holds Phd in Agricultural Economics. Dr Mokhutsoane- Mphafi have been in the Agricultural field since 2006 with most of her experience being the research development at Agricultural Research Council (ARC) of South Africa.

Non-executive Director

Ms. Mots’elisi Caroline ‘Molaoa (Rakhali) – Ms. ‘Molaoa holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a ten years’ experience. She is an experience leader in project management, business operations and process optimization. She will be in the position of non-executive for a duration of three years.

Chief Operations Officer

Mr. Tsietsi Moreki, – Is experience leader, farmer and business architect with twenty-five years in the field of wool and mohair in Lesotho. Over time Mr Moreki developed competency and acumen in wool and mohair classification and sorting. Mr Moreki has indepth knowledge of the full value chain in the wool and mohair business and he has been a mentor for many entrepreneurs.

Business Architect & Strategist

Mr. Rorisang Lekonyana – holds both Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and BSc Honours in Water Resources, BSc Honours in Water Utilization. Mr. Lekonyana is a previous University Lecturer, specialist Water Engineer with 23 years’ experience.

Non-executive Director

Mr. Sihle Abner Ndlovu – Mr Ndlovu holds BSc Honours in Transportation Engineering. He is a business leader and a founding member of Ndlovu Ngonyama, Imbumba Plant hire. He brings 26 years’ experience of business leadership and governance. He will be holding his position as a non-executive for a duration of three years.
